Biography
Hi! I’m Dr. Reneka Dobbs-Jackson. I have been practicing medicine in the Atlanta area for the past 10 years in the fields of primary care and urgent care. I am the mother of 3 lovely children, Camille, Cedric, and Carmen, and one mischievous puppy, Benji. I love the practice of medicine and believe that for those of us who enjoy it, it is a gift that is never ending. Throughout this current pandemic I saw and witnessed things that I never thought would be possible during my life time. And although I spent many nights exhausted and overwhelmed from my work at the urgent care, it was during this time that my love for the practice of medicine grew exponentially. It was during this time that I recognized that there is no replacement for a sound doctor-patient relationship. The fundamental foundational relationship that in the past existed between patients and family doctors has started to become extinct. It is that relationship that I wish to bring back to life. My goal is to care for patients as though they are a part of my family. Sometimes tough conversations will occur. But in the end we will all be aiming at the same goal which is learning to be our best selves one day at a time.
